Ingrown Nose Hair - The Saga Continues

Yeah, so I had an ingrown nose hair back in March, if anyone remembers or gives a sh*t. Well, I ended up with a pimple afterwards...and it's still there. Yeah, 6 weeks later. I popped it long ago and thought it was over but it never really went away. I've still had a red blister there this whole time. I tried all sorts of pimple stuff on it, nothing worked. Popping it now just gets blood. Very distressing.

So today I broke down and went to a doctor. He says it's still an active infected pimple, Folliculitis is the medical term. Great. So I'm on antibiotics now. The generic pills cost $62.00 for 20, what a rip. I have no health insurance. Hopefully it goes away now, I've had this big red zit on my nose for 6 weeks...not cool at all. I've never had a pimple last more than a week or so in my life.

Don't sweat the antibiotics, you have a grow through your nose hair, one day it will just pop out takes about 6 weeks,

dude order your prescriptions from mexico online bottle of antibiotics are like 4 bux 4 60 pills not to mention they arent down graded like the us's version because they have to make you keep coming back to the doctor and the shit never goes away. Also foliculitious can spread anywhere on your body where you have hair.... which can suck nuts.

I had this same thing happen. Saw a white head forming, so I try to pop it...to no avail. Then...then I take a hot washcloth to my face and I see this little blackhead. I give my nose the slightest touch and it starts coming out all by itself. A nose hair...through my nose.

Okay, to the loser who keeps posting his BS website, "Sucks sweaty nuts and go to hell". To everyone else, I've had the same thing happen twice now. Sore pimple inside nose for 1 week, then seems to get a little better until REALLY sore BIG pimple starts to show on outside of nose for almost 2 weeks until it seems to form a head that can be popped. Finally work up the nerve to pop the painful SOB and out comes long black nose hair and pimple juice. Went to the Doc and he says it's not very common, but it does happen. Doc says that inside of nose gets a cut or irritation that healed over the hair follicle and then it finds a way out; sometimes right through your nose and out the outside. Very disgusting, painful and uncool.

Hi nose hair pimple sufferers I too suffer with you. It is recurring. 6 good weeks or so then few weeks of the red nose (sighs). This time it 1 week and still sore but not ready to give birth to that monster that lies within. Not even Christmas and rudolf is getting about lol

My ingrown nose hair here lasted over 2 months. It finally came out by squeezing it. The doctors and medicine were useless.

I've had several before this one, they normally last about 2 weeks or so, this was an exceptionally difficult one.

From my experience, the easiest method is to wait until a pimple head forms, then try to squeeze the hair through the outside of your nose. If the hair doesn't pop out, it's still stuck, the pimple will remain until the hair is removed.

Depending on its placement, a small pimple will form on the inside of the nose within a day or two of the pain beginning and you can pop it and pull the hair out with a pair of tweezers. By turning your nostril inside out. It'll get better in a day if you catch it early and can get the hair out. Most of the time a hair will be coming out of the middle of the pimple. I can always tell when I pull the right hair out because it slips right out with no pain. If it hurts like hell, that's just a normal not ingrown nose hair. Sometimes the placement of the hair doesn't allow for this and you have to suffer through the pain of waiting for a pimple to form on the outside of the nose. This takes a long time and is miserable.

Tea tree oil, you guys. Apply on inside and outside of nostril with a qtip. Often.
